Weekly Update - A Day Late and a Dollar Short

Happy Labor Day Weekend, U.S. Folks! I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend. For that matter we hope that you're enjoying your weekend no matter where you live. The boys and girls of Saturday's Radio have a few things we want to share with you. (Oh, and we apologize for not getting this posted sometime yesterday.)

Probably the biggest thing is that The Truth Hurts is only 99¢ all month long, when you download it from CDBaby. Yep, the whole album is only 99¢. If you've been thinking about getting it, now's the time!

In our Weekly Music Poll, last week we asked you to pick an American band from the sixties. The results are in and The Byrds, Velvet Underground, and Doors each got a pair of votes, while The Beach Boys and Creedence Clearwater Revival each got one. This week we're asking you to pick your favorite Beatles. We're sure some of you will find this easier than others.

As is our custom, Saturday's Radio sends out Happy Birthday wishes to musicans we like who are celebrating birthdays this week. So Happy Birthday to Al Jardine and Steve Jones (both today, Monday); Loudon Wainwright III, Dweezil Zappa, and Sondre Lerche (all Wednesday); Roger Waters and Nina Persson (Thursday); Chrissie Hynde and Benmont Tench (Friday); and Aimee Mann and Neko Case (Saturday). Enjoy your day, y'all!

See you next Sunday if not before! And watch your emails for a short-but-sweet Saturday's Radio Dispatch promoting the 99¢ Truth Hurts download. Cheers!
